2018 Joint EAG/APG Typologies Workshop, 3-5 December 2018 - Novosibirsk, Russian Federation
APG will co-host the 2018 Typologies Workshop with The Eurasian Group on Combating Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism (EAG). The workshop will be held in Novosibirsk, Russian Federation during the week of 3 – 5 December 2018.
This year’s workshop will include an examination and discussion of the following topics and projects:
Money Laundering through Insurance Companies;
Use of Modern Payment Instruments in Cross-Border Drug-Related Settlement and Money Laundering Schemes;
Identification of Individuals Assisting Terrorist Organizations in Purchasing Tickets for Terrorist Fighters;
Best Practice in Identifying Financial Flows Associated with Wildlife Offences;
APG/MENAFATF project on Terrorist Financing and Social Media;
APG/FATF joint study on Financial Flows Associated with Human Trafficking (Phase 1);
Human Trafficking and People Smuggling (Phase 2);
Risks and Vulnerabilities of Trans-Pacific Drug Trafficking Routes.
It is expected that upwards to 300 delegates from the EAG and APG will attend the workshop.
