APG Vacancies - Three Deputy Director Positions

The Asia/Pacific Group on Money Laundering (APG) is seeking dynamic, motivated and experienced individuals to join its team as Deputy Directors to work in the secretariat located in Sydney, Australia. Three positions are available, with one able to commence immediately and the remaining two commencing on 1 July 2019.  The positions are open to any qualified person from within the APG organisation (members and all observer delegations).

This opportunity is being offered on a non-ongoing basis with an initial three year engagement and the possibility of renewal based on performance.

The APG secretariat is hosted by the Australian Federal Police (AFP) and recruitment is conducted through the AFP’s "my career" system.

Conditions of Employment

Candidates must:

  • be able to live and work in Australia with appropriate immigration clearances/visas;

  • have or be able to secure a ‘Negative Vetting Level 1 (Secret)’ security clearance or the ability to as part of employment with the AFP/APG;

  • be medically cleared to work in the AFP; and

  • undergo and pass mandatory drug testing prior to commencement.

These requirements are ongoing requirements of employment with the APG Secretariat's host, the Australian Federal Police.
