APG Fintech Forum, Seoul, South Korea, 5-7 December 2017
The APG held its first FinTech event in Seoul from 5 to 7 December 2017.
The event provided a platform for the sharing of information and implementation experiences to support innovation in financial services while addressing the regulatory and supervisory challenges posed by emerging technologies.
The agenda included a focus on FinTech and financial inclusion, and it was the first APG event attended by the Alliance for Financial Inclusion.
The Korea FIU hosted the forum and KEB Hana Bank provided the venue.
52 international participants attended from 22 APG members, two EAG members, private sector and international organisations. Over 35 local participants from both the public and private sectors attended.
KoFIU provided sponsorship to some speakers and participants.
