Co-Chair meetings June/July 2024
In June 2024 the Canadian APG Co-Chair, Associate Assistant Deputy Minister Julien Brazeau attended the Annual FATF-FSRB High-Level Meeting, held in Singapore. Mr Brazeau met with the incoming APG Co-Chair from Japan, Mr Mitsutoshi Kajikawa, and represented the APG at the FATF Global Network Coordination Group and the FATF-FSRB High-Level Meeting. Mr Brazeau formally acknowledged the leadership of outgoing FATF President, Mr Raja Kumar and welcomed the incoming President Ms Elisa de Anda Madrazo.
In July 2024 the Australian APG Co-Chair, Deputy Commissioner Ian McCartney, met with Mr Mitsutoshi Kajikawa in the margins of the Pacific Banking Forum in Brisbane, Australia.
The Australian Co-Chair and incoming Japanese Co-Chair discussed and agreed upon Co-Chair priorities for the two years ahead.
Mr Mitsutoshi Kajikawa will assume the role of APG Co-Chair on conclusion of the APG Annual Meeting in September 2024.
