APG Secretariat Mutual Evaluation Preparation Training for Nepal
The APG Secretariat continues to support members preparing for upcoming mutual evaluations. On 14 December 2021, over 200 private sector attendees from Nepal joined an APG online seminar to discuss opportunities for the private sector to best support Nepal’s overall efforts to strengthen Nepal’s AML/CFT systems.
Participants discussed opportunities for deeper cooperation and skills sharing within the private sector and between the private sector and government authorities. The APG Mutual Evaluation Preparation seminar for the private sector was organised in response to a request from the Nepal Bankers Association and the Nepal FIU and followed on from online briefings to government and private sector stakeholders delivered by the APG Secretariat earlier in 2021.
